Taylor Swift was full of love for all her teenage fans as she took the stage and hit the press room at the Teen Choice Awards in Universal City this evening. She looked ladylike in her white dress after accepting her Ultimate Choice surfboard from good friend Emma Stone. Backstage Taylor talked about the best advice that she got when she was a teenager just a few years ago and what sort of music she's listening to these days:

• On the best advice she got as a teenager: "Live your life like you're 80 looking back on your teenage years. You know if your dad calls you at eight in the morning and asks if you want to go to breakfast? As a teenager you're like no, I want to sleep. As an 80 year old looking back, you have that breakfast with your dad. It's just little things like that that helped me when I was a teenager in terms of making the choices you won't regret later."
• On what she's listening to these days: "I'm really going through a Beach Boys phase. I'm listening to the Beach Boys and The Shirelles. All kids of 50s and 60s music."

Cameron Diaz accepted her Teen Choice Award surfboard and stepped back to the press room to answer a few questions this evening. The actress looked smoking hot in her strapless mini dress and unique heels — short dresses were the picks of the night, so check out all the Teen Choice Awards red carpet pictures. Still, Cameron says she's not so into the fashion world and she talked about her teenage style as well as the best advice she has for people in high school now. Here's highlights:

• On her teenage style compared to now: "I think it's the same in a weird way. I've always liked clean, minimal, and classic, but with a detail. A little bit of an edge. I've never been a real ruffly girl or really feminine."
• On fashion trends: I've never been in trends. I don't understand trends. As soon as you're there, they leave again. I tried on a dress today that was Spring 2012 and I was like where are we? What is wrong? Why can't I just buy a dress for Summer 2011? That's all I need. By the time we get to 2012, I'll be wearing something for 2013, so it doesn't really make any sense."
• On the best life advice she got as a teen: "Where you're at as a teenager, that's not the real world. Outside of high school is where you start living life. The things that happen in high school, it's not the end of the world. We live in a bubble in high school, but anything that's happens that feels like the end of the world or the best thing that's ever going to happen to you. People should set themselves free from that and start life experience anew [after high school].
• Best advice she's ever gotten: "Be yourself."

Robert Pattinson was still rocking his asymmetrical haircut to accept the honor of Choice vampire at tonight's Teen Choice Awards in LA. Rachel Bilson and Joe Jonas had the honor of presenting the Twilight star with his latest neon surfboard. Rob took to the podium to thank fans and also share details about a new cancer-fighting campaign, aptly titled Cancer Bites, which kicks off nationwide Oct. 31. Rob was joined by his costars Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, and Nikki Reed in the audience, but one lovely lady noticeably absent from the show was Kristen Stewart, who is currently filming Snow White and the Huntsman overseas.

The Teen Choice Awards brought out the brightest and sexiest young stars in Hollywood tonight. Once again it was a battle of hotness between the vampires and werewolves with Twilight's Taylor Lautner facing off against The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder. Justin Bieber arrived shortly after girlfriend, Selena Gomez, while Mark Wahlberg was joined by his daughter Ella posing for photos on the blue carpet — click through to see all the good-looking guys!

Rachel Bilson chose a white, ruffled Chloé dress paired with spiked Brian Atwood booties and her signature ombré waves for tonight's Teen Choice Awards in LA. It's been a busy Summer for the actress as she steadily preps for her upcoming return to the small screen in the CW's Hart of Dixie. Rachel plays Dr. Zoe Hart, a tough Manhattan doctor that lands a job in the South in order to improve her bedside manner, and in Rachel's own words, she finds herself a "fish out of water" navigating through unfamiliar territory. Blake Lively played up her golden Summer tan and blond locks in a similarly hued leather Gucci dress and leopard-print Louboutin stilettos at tonight's Teen Choice Awards in LA. She's been on the West Coast filming Gossip Girl, but took a break from work to step out for her latest award show. Blake arrived solo on the blue carpet; however, recently she was spotted on a romantic bike ride alongside boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio, in NYC. Twilight's Ashley Greene arrived solo in classic black and white Givenchy at tonight's Teen Choice Awards in LA. She's been in the gym working out daily in preparation for tonight's big show. Her costars Kellan Lutz, Taylor Lautner, and Nikki Reed are all there for the fun, though still no word if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be able to break from their busy schedules to make an appearance. Ashley's nominated for Choice female scene stealer and is going up against lovely lady Mila Kunis in that category.
