Kirsten Dunst and Lizzy Caplan hit the red carpet together to premiere their female-driven comedy Bachelorette at the Sundance Film Festival last night. The girls stuck together for the arrivals interviews and chatted about their own experiences in friends' bridal parties — though apparently there are no crazy bachelorette stories from their real lives. Kirsten's boyfriend, Garrett Hedlund, snuck in right behind her, skipping the press but supporting his girl. James Marsden joked about how much fun he had playing an "unapologetic douchebag" in the film, which apparently pushes the envelope of the dark wedding comedy. Afterwards, the cast hit up their afterparty at TAO.

The 2012 Oscar nominations were announced by Jennifer Lawrence in LA this morning! Michelle Williams, Brad Pitt, Viola Davis, Jonah Hill, and Melissa McCarthy were just a few of the lucky stars to be named, and they shared their excitement after finding out the big news. Jennifer Garner, in an Autumn Cashmere sweater, held onto Seraphina's hand as they ran errands in Santa Monica this afternoon. The mother and daughter stopped by Vincente Foods, where they picked up takeout and Seraphina showed off her sparkly pink TOMS. It's already been an exciting week for the Garner-Afflecks, since Jennifer bought a new Range Rover Sport at a local dealership yesterday. Jennifer is gearing up for the March release of Butter and the Spring birth of her third child, which she talked about while promoting her big-screen project on The Tonight Show last week. Her husband, Ben, also has work to do this year with two movies coming out, including his directorial project Argo.

Jessica Chastain was in Paris this afternoon at the Giorgio Armani Prive runway show when the 2012 Oscar nominations were announced — but when the news that The Help star had earned a best supporting actress nod broke, the fashionable French crowd gave the actress a standing ovation!




Jessica may have been the woman of the hour at the Grand Palais, where the show was held, but she wasn't the only boldfaced name in attendance at the couture presentation. She was seated side-by-side with Cameron Diaz in a coveted front-row spot. The actresses both stopped to pose for pictures and chat with designer Giorgio Armani before taking their seats. Cameron had already made the scene at several major shows, including Chanel, Dior, and Versace, before putting in the appearance at Mr. Armani's show this morning.
