It was a big weekend for the Garner-Affleck household with Ben's latest feature, Argo, opening in theaters on Friday. George Clooney's Smokehouse Pictures produced the project, while Ben juggled directing and starring roles. It appears moviegoers are happy with George and Ben's CIA thriller as Argo's expected to earn more than $20 million at the box office this weekend. Argo reviews have been positive with early Oscar buzz beginning to swirl concerning Ben's acting and directing effort.

Tom Cruise was all smiles departing dinner in London last night. He reportedly shared a meal with longtime friend Ridley Scott, though it's another director that's hoping to team up with Cruise on a project. New rumors are swirling that Snow White and The Huntsman's Rupert Sanders is in the running to direct Tom's Van Helsing reboot. Tom's currently wrapping up production on his latest thriller, All You Need Is Kill, but soon he'll switch gears to promote his holiday release, Jack Reacher. Tom 's also got Oblivion out next April.

Cory Monteith escorted girlfriend Lea Michele, dressed in a floor-length Armani gown, to last night's LA premiere of American Horror Story: Asylum. Lea and Cory were on hand with friends, and costars, Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch to support Glee creator Ryan Murphy, who is also the brain behind American Horror Story and The New Normal.

The second season of American Horror Story features a cast of new faces, including Jenna Dewan.
