Kristen Stewart slipped into a sheer Catherine Malandrino striped dress for a special screening of On the Road in NYC last night. She was joined by costar couple Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst, who were back together following Garrett's recent press travels. Kristen and Garrett attended events in LA and SF last week and are currently making the rounds on the East Coast. Kristen's latest appearance took her to the stage during yesterday's 12/12/12 concert benefiting Hurricane Sandy relief, where Blake Lively and Chris Martin also showed up. Kristen was back out today baring her stomach for lunch at Sarabeth's.
Happy 23rd birthday, Taylor Swift! So young and she's accomplished so much in one year. What better way to celebrate than with Harry Styles in England, a new music video release, a dancing gift from Selena Gomez, and a Golden Globe nomination. We've got all the details on her over-the-top birthday week in this PopSugar Rush.
Hugh Jackman continued a week of successes today in Hollywood as he accepted his star on the Walk of Fame. The actor, who earned a Golden Globe nomination this morning and a SAG nod yesterday for his upcoming role as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, had his wife and costars by his side for the ceremony. Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, and Les Mis director Tom Hooper all attended the event, as did Hugh's real-life leading lady, Deborra-Lee Furness.
Anne, who picked up SAG and Globe nominations of her own this week, was spotted proudly snapping photos of Hugh on her phone as he was celebrated outside the famous Chinese Theatre. The costars are gearing up for the Christmas Day release of Les Misérables and have been traveling throughout Europe, Asia, and the States in recent weeks to drum up anticipation for the musical, with LA as their latest stop.
This week in the world of social media, celebrities shared their candid snaps during moments of work and play. Beyoncé Knowles spent time looking at art, while Cameron Diaz stopped by the SNL set and hung backstage with musical guest Ne-Yo. Stars were also getting in the holiday spirit. Zooey Deschanel started her Hanukkah celebrations, and Bar Refaeli posted a photo while lounging in Christmas pajamas and a Santa hat.
Today is Taylor Swift's 23rd birthday! She's garnered lots of attention and success since the release of her debut album in 2006 and has won countless Grammys, American Music Awards, and CMAs. Taylor seems genuinely shocked and excited to receive accolades from peers and praise from her fans, resulting in some pretty amusing facial expressions.
In honor of the singer's big day, we've rounded up over 30 of Taylor's most jaw-dropping moments. Click through to see them all now!
Tom Cruise and Rosamund Pike, in Emilio Pucci, met up in Madrid for the Spanish premiere of Jack Reacher today. The costars kicked off promotions in London on Monday and then traveled to Stockholm for another event on Tuesday. Tom and Rosamund have been joined in each city by the film's director, Christopher McQuarrie, and have spent time meeting with fans. According to a fan on Twitter, Tom spent nearly two hours signing autographs and posing for photographs with the waiting crowd during their latest press stop. It's just the beginning for Tom and the cast, since the movie doesn't hit theaters until Dec. 21.
Celebrities and rock stars joined up to help out with the 12/12/12 concert benefiting Hurricane Sandy victims in NYC last night. Katie Holmes, Kristen Stewart, and Blake Lively appeared at the event, which raised money for the Robin Hood Relief Fund. Blake donned a bright orange Isabel Marant dress, while Katie picked blue Tom Ford and Kristen wore a neon yellow Jonathan Simkhai getup.
Katie joined Jason Sudeikis to present a video called "Red Hook Rising," bringing attention to those affected in Brooklyn. Kristen, meanwhile, praised New Jerseyans and introduced Jon Bon Jovi. Blake spoke about Connecticut and brought out Chris Martin, who performed with Michael Stipe. Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, and many more musicians performed at the 12/12/12 concert. Paul McCartney gave a sensational performance when he joined up with the surviving members of Nirvana, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, to perform a new song called "Cut Me Some Slack."
The concert was broadcast both on TV and for free in movie theaters in the tri-state area, so Sandy victims had a place to enjoy the music. Superstorm Sandy left many in New York and New Jersey homeless and without power after it drove through the area in late October.
What the what, Hollywood Foreign Press?! Golden Globe nominations were revealed this morning and there were definitely some curveball contenders — and snubs — that have us scratching our heads in this PopSugar Rush. Check out the full list of Golden Globe Award nominees on BuzzSugar and stayed tuned for more award season updates!
