Prince William, Pippa, and James Visit Kate as the Hospital Apologizes For Releasing Private Info
Prince William visited his wife, Kate Middleton, in a London hospital today for the third morning in a row. Kate checked into the hospital on Monday, seeking treatment for acute morning sickness, known as hyperemesis gravidarum. Later on in the afternoon, Kate's siblings James and Pippa Middleton stopped by to see her as well.
Yesterday, a palace official confirmed that she is responding well to treatment. Now, William and Kate are thinking about their future and are deciding where to raise the heir to the British throne. Current options include staying at their current home in Wales, or moving nearer to their families in England.
Officials at King Edward VII's Hospital are in hot water today after staff members fell for an Australian radio hoax. Two hosts from Down Under, pretending to be royals, connected to Kate's private nurses and retrieved private information about her condition. A King Edward VII spokesperson said today, "This call was transferred through to a ward and a short conversation was held with one of the nursing staff. King Edward VII's Hospital deeply regrets this incident."
Gwyneth Spends Her Wedding Anniversary With Hugo Boss in Dubai
Gwyneth Paltrow made an appearance on behalf of Boss Nuit at the Paris Gallery in Dubai today. The afternoon of work came on a special occasion for Gwyneth — today is Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's anniversary. The couple tied the knot back in 2003 at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, CA. They managed to spend quality time together ahead of the milestone.
Life has been extra busy for Gwyneth recently as she's traveled the world touting Hugo Boss's fragrance. She's attended events in Spain and now the United Arab Emirates. She's also on the January 2013 cover of InStyle UK. Inside the magazine, Gwyneth spoke about expanding her family and much more. Here are highlights from Gwyneth Paltrow in InStyle UK:
- On having another baby: "My brain says, 'Oh, I think I'm done, the kids are big now and I don't want to go back to changing diapers.' But a part of me would love to have another. Of course, I'm old now!"
- On taking risks: "I am inherently a risk taker. Starting GOOP was a risk — I didn't expect when it first came out for it to have so much scrutiny . . . people questioning so much why I was doing it. Also, quitting acting for three years to have kids and not really thinking about my career in that way. Just thinking I want to have kids and I want to be home with them."
- On putting on her editor hat for GOOP: "I come up for ideas for content, mainly the things I am curious about and want to know about. Then we research them. I'm naturally a very curious person. I always want to know what's coming around the corner, what new hotels there are, food, travel stuff. Things I've always wanted to know, like how to make a bed in a hotel. And I think, 'Maybe someone else wants to know about this too?' It's fun!"
