The Brit Awards at London's O2 Arena were a star-studded affair with many of music's finest stepping out for the event today. Rihanna, who celebrated her 24th birthday yesterday, switched out of her gold Givenchy gown to take the stage in a white outfit while Adele showed off her vocal talents for the first time in the UK since undergoing throat surgery last year. She wore a black Burberry dress for the show and accepted her British female solo artist honor with a smile. Chris Martin and his band Coldplay took home the British group award and performed during the event. Also on hand for the Brit Awards were Florence & the Machine, X Factor alums One Direction, Formula One driver Jenson Button, Kylie Minogue, Bruno Mars, and British singer Ed Sheeran, who picked up the statue for breakthrough act. She, meanwhile, reportedly partied late with friends. She got many tweets from fans and friends, including a controversial message from former beau Chris Brown. Chris tweeted, "Happy birthday Robyn!" to which she replied, "Thanks!"
