She joined judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson on the panel and said farewell to contestant Shannon Magrane — do you agree with Idol's results? Shannon wasn't the only singer dropped from the competition this week. The show's producers sent home Jermaine Jones after learning he lied about his criminal past.

Earlier this week, J Lo returned from Mexico where she was on location filming her upcoming music video "Follow the Leader." She's dropping other music too, with news that her next single, "Dance Again," will hit airwaves on March 30 and the video will debut on April 5. Jennifer posed for the April cover of Vogue and talked openly about her relationship with Casper. The Hunger Games rolled into Berlin today for the film's latest premiere. George Clooney held a quick press conference following his release from a Washington DC jail this afternoon. He and his father Nick were arrested earlier today for protesting in front of the Sudanese embassy, and were charged with disorderly crossing of a police line. George was let out of custody after posting $100 bail and took the opportunity to speak to the press about his message on the humanitarian issues in Sudan and South Sudan.

George said: "Listen, what we've been trying to achieve today is we're trying to bring attention to an ongoing emergency. Our job right now is to try to bring attention to it, and one of those ways was, apparently, get arrested. You never know if you're going to accomplish anything, all we're trying to do is bring attention to a moment. We hope this brings attention to it." When asked what his girlfriend Stacy Keibler might think of the arrest, George joked that she's "probably thrilled."

Andrew Garfield took the Broadway stage of Death of a Salesman with his costars, including Philip Seymour Hoffman, in NYC yesterday. It was a big opening night for the play with plenty of famous faces stepping out to show their support. Meryl Streep and her husband Don Gummer held hands on their way into the theater while Julianna Margulies and Julianne Moore both posed with their men before heading inside. Maggie Gyllenhaal, who is pregnant with her second child, covered her bump in a cape for the occasion with Peter Sarsgaard by her side. Andrew's girlfriend Emma Stone, in Lanvin, arrived solo to watch him perform after the duo were seen arm in arm on the NYC streets over the weekend. Andrew even got a nod in the form of flowers from Reeve Carney, who plays Spider-Man in the Broadway adaptation, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, with a note reading, “Happy opening, from one Spidey to another.” We'll get to see Andrew's turn in the superhero role when The Amazing Spider-Man, which also stars Emma, hits theaters this Summer.

Victoria Beckham led the way for Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale in LA last night. The trio dined out at Cecconi's to celebrate Eva's birthday. It was apparently the second bash of the week, since Eva was spotted having dinner at Cut with Mario Lopez, his fiancée Courtney Mazza, Kevin Connolly, and others on Tuesday. Eva was surrounded by friends as she rang in her 37th year and tweeted, "My house is a flower shop! I'm overwhelmed with happiness today! Thank U everybody!" There was one person missing from the fun, however, since Eva reportedly split from her boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, though the couple were spotted on vacation together just last month.

Stars came out to support UNICEF at its Playlist With the A-List event benefiting Schools For Africa in LA last night. Kristen Bell, Heidi Klum, and Molly Sims were among the guests that took the stage to perform during the fundraiser, which also included a live auction. Things got goofy when Heidi, Tom Hanks, and Rita Wilson danced in the crowd and sang "YMCA" while wearing hats. Pregnant Molly kept the fun coming as she belted out tunes before Kristen, who wore a polka-dot look from Topshop, took the mic with the help of Molly Shannon and Don Cheadle.
