Scarlett Johansson hit the red carpet at The Avengers world premiere on Tuesday night in LA. She was decked out in a black Versace number and pulled back her blond hair for the event. We chatted with Scarlett, who plays master interrogator Black Widow in the film, about who in real life she would grill for their deepest darkest secrets. After some consideration, Scarlett came up with a great answer: George Clooney. She also talked about the Zen mentality she had to be in for some of the shoots thanks to uncomfortable costumes and high temperatures on set. Robert Downey Jr. stuck close by his wife Susan Downey at this evening's world premiere of The Avengers at El Capitan Theatre in LA. It was Susan's first red carpet outing since giving birth to their new son Exton in early February. The Avengers boasts quite the star-studded cast, but one person missing was the leading lady to RDJ's Iron Man, Pepper Potts. Gwyneth Paltrow missed out on this evening's event, though she and RDJ did get to team up to present at the 2012 Oscars. Just last week Scarlett hosted a fundraiser for Scott Stringer, who is running for mayor of NYC. Scarlett is also going strong with her artsy advertising executive, Nate Naylor.

Chris Hemsworth slicked back his blond hair and donned a dapper gray suit to hit the red carpet at the world premiere of The Avengers in LA this evening. We were LIVE chatting with all the stars during the arrivals — watch all of our Avengers red-carpet interviews here! We talked to Chris about getting back into the character of Thor as a follow-up to his 2011 leading superhero role. The actor played it humble when asked about the amazing year he and his brother, The Hunger Games' Liam Hemsworth, are having, though Chris did gush about his sibling's talent standing out despite a fairly small amount of screen time in the blockbuster film. Chris did stay on team Avengers, however, when given a choice of who would win in an archery battle, Hawkeye or Katniss Everdeen. Chris was without his wife Elsa Pataky tonight, though she did recently show off her baby bump in a bikini on a yacht alongside the likes of Matt and Luciana Damon.
