Josh Hutcherson was honored with the Vanguard Award tonight in downtown LA at the GLAAD Media Awards. The celebration honored actors, entertainers, TV shows, and films that have helped support the LGBT community through their work. Joshua Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Betty White, Ali Larter, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were also in attendance to lend their support to the cause. Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson was yet another guest of honor and accepted an award on behalf of his hit sitcom during the ceremony.

We caught up with Josh on the press line to talk about his campaign for Straight Not Narrow, which is geared toward combating homophobia, and the most inspiring letter he received from a teen who was touched by its message. We also spoke with him about the news that Francis Lawrence, the director behind Water For Elephants and I Am Legend, will helm Catching Fire. Josh admitted to us that he hasn't yet met Francis but expressed excitement about working with him on the second installment of the franchise, which is set to hit theaters in the Fall of 2013. Drew Barrymore and her fiancé, Will Kopelman, stepped out for lunch in Beverly Hills on Friday. Drew's Dries van Noten jacket made for yet another mysterious optical illusion to neither confirm nor deny the pregnancy rumors. Drew and Will are reportedly expecting a baby, though neither of the possible parents-to-be has commented on the stories. The happy couple have been laying low for the past few months, which means despite being one of the many celebrities who love Coachella, they are skipping the festival this year. Drew also usually stays very busy with film projects, but for the moment she's taking a break, which could lend more evidence to the fact that she and Will are focusing on family.
