Jessica Alba took her Summer fun one step further (and gave us a pretty awesome weekend idea) by floating in a kiddie pool. Claire Danes showed off her pregnancy glow for photographer friend Amanda de Cadenet, while the Spice Girls posed with Russell Brand backstage during the London Olympics closing ceremony. The ladies of The Vampire Diaries also got in on some girl time. They beat the Summer heat by slipping into their bikinis and taking a dip in the pool together.

Robert Pattinson burst back onto the scene this week after a few weeks out of the spotlight, and he's been spotted living it up in NYC while in the midst of a Cosmopolis press tour. On Monday, Rob headed over to The Daily Show With Jon Stewart for his first postbreakup appearance, followed by the premiere of his film. Tuesday was another early start, as Rob rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange before sharing lunch with director David Cronenberg and stepping out for a night with friends. Rob had another busy morning Wednesday when he visited Good Morning America.

Cosmopolis is in theaters tomorrow, but before then, click through to see all of Rob's hot appearances so far.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise walked through an NYC airport today to take a flight out of town. The girls are getting used to flying commercial, after years of living it up in private jets traveling with Suri's dad, Tom Cruise. Of course, once in a while, they both still travel in smaller, exclusive planes. Suri's racked up the frequent flier miles recently, traveling from Katie's new home base in the Big Apple out to visit with Tom in the Hamptons and even at Disney in Florida. All the travel will have to cease for a bit once Suri starts her first day of school. According to a new report, Tom and Katie will both drop Suri off on her first day of kindergarten after Labor Day.

Tom Sturridge left baby Marlowe at home this evening to attend the London premiere of his new movie, On the Road. His leading ladies, Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst, weren't able to attend, but he did have the company of his fellow actors Sam Riley and Danny Morgan. Kristen had been scheduled to attend, but decided to skip in the wake of her recent personal issues. Tom, though, has been in London and didn't have to travel far for the screening at London's Somerset House. Tom and his fiancée Sienna Miller's baby, Marlowe, has been their center of attention for the last month, since the little one's July birth. They've been spotted frequently taking Marlowe out to get her first glimpses of their neighborhood. Sam, who actually has the biggest part in the movie, isn't yet a dad in real life. However, he has been married to his former costar in Control, Alexandra Maria Lara, since 2009.

Jessica and Kate have become quite a premiere duo. They have their posing act down, having also taken the film to screenings in Dublin, Berlin, and LA. The picture debuted in the US earlier this month, but failed to make a big splash at the box office. The stars are hoping for more success overseas, and British audiences will have a chance to check out Len's directorial effort when it arrives in theaters Aug. 29.

Since then, things have changed for the couple. In June, Johnny and Vanessa confirmed their split. Vanessa is now moving forward with the next chapter in her life. During a recent chat with Harper's Bazaar, Vanessa revealed what she looks for in a man, saying, "Well, my type is obviously creative . . . creative, with burning eyes and a pretty mouth."
