Ben Affleck stepped out to attend the Do Something Awards in Santa Monica, CA, on Sunday evening. Ben was being honored for his work in Africa on his Eastern Congo Initiative. It's been a big few days for the actor, writer, and director — Ben Affleck turned 40 on Wednesday. Ben's wife Jennifer Garner made it back just in time to celebrate with him, though earlier in the week she was taking care of her The Odd Life of Timothy Green promotional duties in NYC. Ben will be on the road for his own film soon when Argo premieres at the Toronto Film Festival.

Suri Cruise learned to ride a bike in New York City on Saturday. Katie kept a watchful eye over Suri, who is still keeping her balance with training wheels. Suri also gave a ride to some of her stuffed animals in her bike basket. Suri is getting ready to start school in NYC soon, and this Summer, she's been adapting to her new life, dividing time between mom Katie and dad Tom Cruise. Tom took Suri to Disney World in Florida a few weeks ago, so she'll have some fun stories to share when she meets her new classmates soon. Katie has her own milestone coming up too, since this upcoming fashion week will be the first time she hosts a Holmes & Yang runway show.

Kate Hudson stopped off for lunch with friends at Sugarfish in Brentwood, CA, on Friday. Kate was without her boys Bing Bellamy and Ryder Robinson on the outing, though the trio did travel together earlier in the week. The first clip of Kate Hudson on Glee came out this week, showing that the hot mom has some equally sexy dance moves up her sleeve. Glee isn't the only important musical release in her future — Kate's fiancé Matthew Bellamy's band Muse has an album coming out in October. Kate and Matt may not have duets in their future, but baby Bing apparently will make an appearance on the record. Matthew told Rolling Stone that an iPhone recording of the sound of Bing's heartbeat right before he was born is featured on the track "Follow Me."

Rachel Zoe traded stilettos for wedges to hit the park with husband Rodger Berman and their son Skyler on Saturday. Skyler showed off his walking skills and held hands with Rachel and Rodger. While the weekend is all about family time, Rachel's newest baby is another addition to her ever-expanding empire. Rachel Zoe jewelry made its debut in July, and we chatted with the designer about the line, which piece is her favorite, and her suggestions on how to style it. There's another Fashion Week around the corner in September, so Rachel should enjoy the calm before the whirlwind in NYC.

Jennifer Lopez brought her tour to Las Vegas over the weekend and stopped by the MGM Grand Wet Republic pool as well as Pure Nightclub on Saturday and Sunday. Jennifer also had her man Casper Smart by her side, putting to rest rumors that the two are on the rocks. J Lo graces InStyle's September cover, and inside the magazine, she spoke about "believing in love" in spite of her own romantic history. Jennifer also talked about her role as a mom to twins Emme and Max, who have been along for the ride for much of her and Enrique Iglesias's world tour this Summer.

Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Conor Kennedy held hands in the ocean off the coast of Cape Cod on Friday. Taylor and her 18-year-old guy have been spending lots of time together this Summer, starting with the Fourth of July when she was first spotted with the famous family. Taylor's polka-dot bikini has been a favorite of hers as she enjoys East Coast living. Taylor is so enamored with the area that she reportedly bought a house near the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, MA. Taylor will soon be trading in her swimsuits for life on the road, promoting her new album, Red. She released her new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," last week, and the catchy tune is already breaking records.

Jennifer Aniston debuted a gold band on her left hand Friday while shooting We're the Millers on location in Wilmington, NC. She appeared on set earlier this week, but this is the first time we've seen Jen step out wearing a ring since news of her engagement to Justin Theroux. Later in the day, Jen joined friends to go see The Campaign.

Jen and Justin confirmed their engagement last weekend after he popped the question a week ago on his 41st birthday. Details about the engagement ring are sparse, though according to friends close to the couple, Justin's been "dying" to propose to his girlfriend of 15 months. The couple are moving forward with wedding preparations, and Jen and Justin are reportedly negotiating a prenup.
