Angelina Jolie continued touring the Middle East today with a stop in Ankara, Turkey. She met with Turkish Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin to discuss the plight of Syrian refugees seeking shelter in his country. Angelina said, "I'm very grateful to Turkey and all of the countries receiving the refugees." Though with Winter quickly approaching, she voiced her concerns about their health and safety, saying, "[I hope] no one freezes to death in this very frightening time." Angelina's very involved with the relief efforts, and in fact, earlier this week she was nearly moved to tears sharing details of the conversations she had with Syrian families and refugees.

The cast of the second Hunger Games installment showed up on set in Atlanta yesterday. Production on Catching Fire got started on Monday, and Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Willow Shields, Alan Ritchson, Jeffrey Wright, and others reported for work. Sam made his debut as Finnick Odair, while Jena got into character as Johanna Mason. Jennifer Lawrence, who is sporting darker hair for Katniss, wasn't spotted during the day of filming, but she talked about getting back to her big-screen role during a recent appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer got physical for a scene on the LA set of Lone Ranger yesterday. Johnny was shirtless and in full face paint for his Tonto character, while Armie was suited up for the cameras. The costars got started on the Disney project back in February, though production was temporarily halted due to budget issues. During his recent break from work, Johnny hung out with musical friends, landed a guest role on Family Guy, and made a trip to Canada for TIFF. Johnny was there in support of West of Memphis, and chatted with press about the real-life drama of the three men who were wrongly convicted of homicide and finally let out of prison last year.
