The 57th presidential inauguration took place in Washington DC today, but the fun got started over the weekend with stars stepping out to show their support at multiple events. Sophia Bush and Rosario Dawson celebrated leading women in Washington on Sunday, while Chrissy Teigen and John Legend cozied up at the hip-hop inaugural ball that night. Eva Longoria shared the stage with Vice President Joe Biden at the Latino inaugural event yesterday before bundling up in a pink coat for the official inauguration festivities. Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z were on hand for the main event, since Beyoncé had the honor of singing the national anthem in front of the massive crowd. Katy Perry and John Mayer were also spotted in the audience following Katy's performance at the Kids' Inaugural Concert. There's been plenty of star power so far with even more expected at this evening's many inauguration balls — see all the famous faces in attendance now!
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got in a little beach time while on vacation in Costa Rica with Liam's brother Chris Hemsworth last week. Miley lounged in Liam's arms while wearing a black crop top and silk shorts in the sand. She was also seen walking along the beach and dipping her toes into the surf. Chris joined the young couple on their trip and showed off his muscular physique while taking in the view of the water. The group had plenty to celebrate while in Costa Rica, including Liam's 23rd birthday, which was on Jan. 13, and the fact that he recently wrapped work on Catching Fire. Even though Miley was on vacation, she has been busy asking her fans to vote for her for Maxim's Hot 100. Miley tweeted, "My fans are the bomb diggity. Keep voting," with a link to the online contest.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Naomi Campbell hung out on a yacht off the coast of Miami on Monday. Leo was joined by a group of women, including his mom, Irmelin, as he chatted with a bikini-wearing Naomi. Leo's back in vacation mode after traveling to LA to attend the Golden Globes earlier this month, and it looks like his time off might become more permanent. Leo is taking a break from acting now that he's wrapped up filming for The Wolf of Wall Street. He reportedly told the German publication Bild that he is "drained" and added, "I'm now going to take a long, long break. I've done three films in two years, and I'm just worn out. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment."
Leo's not the only star currently enjoying some relaxation in Florida; Jennifer Lopez was also spotted on a yacht there over the weekend. J Lo wore a bikini during her stay in Miami and chatted with her family while soaking up the sun.
Robert Pattinson was accompanied by friends for a night out on the town in Adelaide, Australia, yesterday. He is currently on location Down Under to film his latest movie, The Rover. Rob arrived in Australia last week, and on Thursday, he was spotted carrying his guitar through Melbourne Airport. He will have plenty of time to focus on his current project, since his upcoming film with Naomi Watts, Queen of the Desert, was put on hold after Naomi announced that "it's time for me to be home with the kids."
Rob had a busy few days leading up to his travels; he hit the red carpet ahead of his duties as a presenter at this year's Golden Globes. He was solo for the award show but later met up with girlfriend Kristen Stewart to attend hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey's after-afterparty at Soho House.
