Katy Perry held hands with John Mayer following a dinner date at Osteria Mozza in LA last night. The couple are staying put on the West Coast for the time being after celebrating Christmas with her parents. It seems John and Katy's romance is going strong. They connected last Summer and, after a brief break, reconciled in the Fall. They've been having lots of fun during relatively slow periods work-wise, taking in Broadway shows, watching a Rolling Stones concert, and even sharing some charity work. Katy and John are going into 2013 on a high note, and she received a belated holiday gift — Katy was just ranked the world's hottest woman by the magazine Men's Health.

Matt Damon and Michael Douglas took the stage at the HBO Winter 2013 TCA Panel yesterday in Pasadena. Michael and Matt, who costar in HBO's upcoming Behind the Candelabra, were at the Langham Hotel with producer Jerry Weintraub and director Steven Soderbergh to chat up their Liberace biopic. The TV film is based on the story of Liberace, portrayed by Michael, and his five-year relationship with the much younger Scott Thorson, played by Matt.

The gang spoke about the project yesterday at the TCA and about their struggles to make the project as accurate as possible because it was based on the stories of real people. Matt said about the Liberace film, "There are aspects of their relationship that were absurd, but for me, it just kind of pointed out that there are aspects of all of our lives that are absurd . . . What it felt like was if this was a relationship between a man and a woman, you’d feel moments like, 'This is too intimate — maybe I shouldn’t be here.' But it’s between a man and a man, and I’ve never seen that movie before. So it was fun, but we weren’t giggling about it. We took it very seriously. These are people’s lives, and we wanted to get it right."

Matt spent the afternoon focusing on his small-screen project, though his latest big-screen endeavor, Promised Land, arrived in theaters across the country yesterday, too. The project was out in limited release a week ago, but has now opened widely — check out so-so Promised Land reviews.

Orlando Bloom greeted Miranda Kerr with a kiss yesterday when he picked her up from a spa in LA. She spent part of the afternoon at a tanning salon, and Orlando arrived once she was done to open the door for her and give her a ride home. Orlando, Miranda, and their son Flynn were together to spend the holidays as a family in LA. Their family time helped put to rest the rumors that Miranda and Orlando's marriage is on the rocks. The couple has put on a display of unity though, attending parties together, taking family hikes, and more. Tomorrow will bring further cause for celebration — their son Flynn turns 2!

Stars spent the holidays in bikinis on tropical beaches, sharing PDA, and ringing in 2013 across the country. Reese Witherspoon slipped into a swimsuit to enjoy the beach with husband Jim Toth and baby Tennessee in Hawaii, while Jay-Z celebrated the new year on stage with Chris Martin and Coldplay in Brooklyn, NY. In Cabo, Jennifer Aniston wore a skimpy two-piece to lounge poolside with fiancé Justin Theroux, and a pregnant Jenna Dewan planted a passionate kiss on husband Channing Tatum on the beach in St. Bart's.
