Mariah Carey showed off her toned physique in a bright red bikini while on tour in Australia last week. The singer took to the sand as she enjoyed downtime from her performances in Melbourne, which she shared photos of on her Instagram page. Mariah made her time Down Under a family affair, ringing in the new year alongside her husband, Nick Cannon, and their twins, Moroccan and Monroe. The little ones joined their mom on stage to greet the crowd at one show, and they even said a few words to fans into the microphone.

Mariah is gearing up for the premiere of American Idol next week and took some time to speak to Barbara Walters about her judging gig on the show. In the interview, which airs tonight on Nightline, Mariah touches on her reported feud with fellow judge Nicki Minaj, saying that in spite of the alleged drama, AI "is a classic, classy show."

Kim Kardashian wore a white bikini yesterday for a shoot on the beach in Miami. Despite being pregnant with her first child, Kim didn't let any possible chill off the water get in the way of her posing. With the help of a cardigan, Kim's baby bump stayed hidden as she walked from the set back to her hotel.

Kim's in Florida for work and fun. She tweeted about having the chance to dine with her pals Jonathan Cheban and Carla DiBello last night. She and boyfriend Kanye West are equally busy as they kick off 2013. Following their Dec. 31 fun in Atlantic City, Kim was off to host an event last week in Calgary before finding herself back in the Sunshine State.

It was an extraspecial weekend for the Garner-Affleck family. After Jen and Ben went ice-skating with Seraphina and Violet on Friday, Jennifer took the girls to see a production of Anything Goes Saturday. Yesterday, though, was the main event. It was Seraphina Affleck's fourth birthday, and the occasion was marked with a party at Kidville USA. Seraphina was dressed up in a pink princess outfit and had bright orange cake. Ben's brother, Casey Affleck, and his little ones were also on hand for the celebrations. The fun continued when the family headed to Disneyland, where Ben and Jen showed love while Violet and Seraphina watched a parade.

Along with Sera's big day, the family has much more to celebrate with a big award season ahead for Ben. He got an early start on winning over the weekend. Ben attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival and he, along with his Argo cast, nabbed the ensemble performance award. The excitement will continue this week, as Argo is nominated for multiple awards at Sunday's Golden Globes.

Rosario Dawson took her bikini and her boyfriend, Danny Boyle, on vacation in Barbados on Friday. Rosario, 33, wore a red and black mismatched two-piece while she floated around with Danny, who is 56, and friends on a colorful ferry called Yessiree. The couple reportedly started dating after he cast her in his new film, Trance, which is expected to be released later this year. Danny and Rosario went public with their relationship in August, when they were spotted kissing in England shortly after Danny wrapped his much-watched opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were hand in hand as they touched down at LAX on Saturday. They looked relaxed as they returned from a romantic getaway to Hawaii, where they rang in 2013 together. Lea donned a sexy red bikini to hit the beach with Cory, and the pair also had some fun touring around on a boat during their stay. Cory documented their New Year's celebrations on Instagram, sharing a picture of fireworks from the beach. Although the couple were able to relax and enjoy their vacation, Lea announced that she was happy to head home on Twitter, saying, "One day left of vacay! I'll miss Hawaii so much but it feels good to be back home. Plus, sunny LA's not such a bad place to come back to!"

The 24th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival drew boldfaced Hollywood names on Saturday night. Stars including Ben Affleck, Naomi Watts, and Bradley Cooper were honored for their onscreen work, while Tom Hanks, Eddie Redmayne, Diane Lane, and other celebs presented the evening's awards. We were on the red carpet and inside for the star-studded dinner, where several of the awardees shared moving, funny, and heartfelt speeches. Naomi, who accepted the evening's Desert Palm Achievement Award for an actress from her The Impossible costar Tom Holland, thanked her longtime partner, Liev Schreiber, for inspiring her. She also expressed gratitude for their two young sons, Sasha and Kai, for "breathing life into me."

Birthday boy Bradley Cooper — who turned 38 yesterday — gave a short and humble speech when accepting the corresponding award for actor for his work in Silver Linings Playbook. It was one of newly single Bradley Cooper's first nights out since splitting from Zoe Saldana. Bradley couldn't escape host Mary Hart, who led the audience in a round of "Happy Birthday" in his honor before he left the stage. As Ben Affleck and his Argo cast closed the show, taking home the ensemble performance award, Ben asked Mary if she'd prompt the crowd to sing "Happy Birthday" for him, as well. "When's your birthday?" Mary asked. Ben replied, "August."
