KAEB06 7 years falling slowly....definitely Wicked 7 years Amy Adams only wanted to do one song. Since "Happy Working Song" is more character based, she kind of had to sing it. It was weird that she was on stage by herself and what could they do? Have people dancing around in rat and pigeon costumes? emilkui 7 years AMY ADAMS CUTE...SHE IS SO SWEET pequeña 7 years "Falling slowly". I absolutely loved Once and I was so happy when they won. I loved Markéta Irglová's speech, very sweet and moving. genvessel 7 years while i am a huge fan of "enchanted" - i wasn't a big fan of the performances on stage. both "raise it up" and "falling slowly" were fabulous. snickerdoodle 7 years That's not even a question! Compared to the quiet, genuine intensity of "Falling Slowly" - where you could tell exactly how much this meant to the performers - the other numbers felt trite and fake. I'm so glad they got this one right! sharshar 7 years I love Kristin, but wow, "Falling Slowly" was perfect. Kaysnowboarder 7 years I loved the movie once and loved the musicians. They were so talented and loved the live performance of falling slowly. bastille_75 7 years "Falling Slowly" from Once!!! I loved the movie, I loved their performance on the Independent Spirit Awards and I loved them last night!!!! Once was definitely one of the best movies all year!!! hollywoodholiday 7 years Am I the only one with love for Jon Mclaughlin? I adore "So Close", its one of myafter" favorite songs! But I'll be the first to admit I'm biased because I'm a sucker for Disney style romance :D Brittfish 7 years How did Amy Adams get so gypped? Kristin Chenoweth gets to sing the best song from her movie while she gets stuck up on the stage by herself, no production number, no dancing pigeons and cockroaches, no nothing. Seriously, what happened here? spazzydana 7 years i thought falling slowly was alright. Obviously the guy can sing but his voice with the other girls voice just clashed. Some of the notes they hit made me cringe, although of course, its live. kmckay 7 years i have adored falling slowly since the moment i heard it- i am overjoyed that they won! i also adore kristin though- her voice seemed a bit off from her norm though.... Wicked 7 years Kristin! DreaAST 7 years i wasn't into any of them. remedios 7 years I did not see Enchanted, but I had a different impression of what the movie would be like. I thought it was more of a twist on the traditional fairy tale, like good natured poking fun a bit. But the songs appeared to be completely cheezy - great singing and theatrical, but cheezy nonetheless. Falling Slowly seemed the most genuine to me. Linda-McP 7 years Falling Slowly hands down! ilanac13 7 years by FAR the song from august rush was the best in my eyes - and i wish that it would have won. oh well. freegracefrom 7 years I really liked the movie 'August Rush,' but I definitely need to check out 'Once!' katiejane24 7 years Definitely Falling Slowly. Matter of fact, I went straight to iTunes to rent Once so I can watch it tonight! Mädchen 7 years jspark, I agree. It was still my favourite performance of the night, but I would have preferred it, if it had just been the two of them. jspark 7 years The performance of Falling slowly was definitly the most genuine, but I don't think they needed the orchestra arrangement.
