Hi there. We're Shannon Vestal and Becky Kirsch from BuzzSugar. And in this weeks episode of The Buzz, we're counting down the five 2012 movies we're most excited to see. We're just a few weeks into the new year and Becky and I are already looking forward to some of the major releases coming to theaters in the next few months. Yea, twenty eleven was was a big year for movies. We had so many sequels, the end of the Harry Potter series, the beginning of the end of Twilight and there were lots of super hero movies and I think twenty twelve is going to offer some of the same, except we are getting a new franchise which is really cool and a lot of even bigger superhero movies, so I can't wait. So let's start the countdown. I love you. Will you marry me? One of the comedies I'm most excited about this year is the Five Year Engagement. Last year Bridesmaids raised the bar for the wedding comedy, and this year Jason Steel and Emily Blunt play a couple who just keep putting off their wedding date. Have you two picked a date yet? Not yet, but within the year. I just thought the trailer was really cute and Jason and Emily would make such an adorable couple. Ya, and for me, ever Since I saw the Muppets, Jason Segal can do no wrong in my eyes. So, I'm really excited about this one too. Next on our list, Becky and I choose the Great Gatsby. This is one of my all time favorite books and I'm so exited to see Leonardo DiCaprio in the role of Jake Gatsby. And from the film that we have already seen of this movie, they just look beautiful and glittery and amazing, especially Carry Moligan and Davey in her 1920 costume. And not only is the cast excellent but you also have Baz Luhrmann directing here, who did Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet. So you know it's going to be really beautiful, really showy. My only worry is that it's going to in 3D and I've never seen a heavy drama in 3D, so it should be interesting. There's so many comic performers coming to the screen this year but since I have a soft spot for Andrew Garfield, I had to put The Amazing Spiderman on our list. The Toby McGuire movies are still pretty fresh in our mind so he definitely has big shoes to fill. This one mostly focuses on Peter Parker's younger years. He's going to be in high school and he's got a new love interest played by Emma Stone, so I'm excited. and I also share your love for Andrew Garfield especially since we saw him at Comicon delivering that adorable heart felt speech about how much Spider Man means to him. definitely the coolest moment of my life, and thank you for being here and sharing it with me. So I just can't wait to see what he brings to that role. Oh my God isn't he the cutest, I watched that video so many times. You think this There's a storm coming Mr. Wayne. The Dark Knight is a hard act to follow, especially with Heath Ledger's amazing performance, but I think The Dark Knight Rises might have a fighting chance. The trailer looked amazing and I can't wait to see Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Tom Hardy as the creepy looking villain Bane. When Gotham is ashes, you have my permission you know, I actually got to see the seven minutes of footage that showed before mission impossible. Which gave us a much closer look at just how bad Bane is as a villain, and it just looked so creepy I was dying to see more. And any of the was one of the top grossing films of all time, and this one is gonna be in 3D. Only one more pick to go so for the number one movie movie that Shannon [sp?] and I are most excited to see in 2012 we house the Hunger Games. I volunteer. I volunteer as tribute. But we are obsessed with this book, and last year we were eating up all the casting news. And I know that we both can't wait to see Jennifer Lawrence as catnip and Josh Hucherson [sp] as and when that trailer came out we were just so pumped because for me it looked exactly what I had envisioned when I was reading the book. Make sure they remember you. So much build up, so I can't wait to see how this movie's received. If it can reach the same levels of Twilight and Harry Potter mania. And I'm really just looking forward to seeing a new group of stars taking over Hollywood. We'll 2012 well it looks like it's going to be a great year for movies, and now that you know what films Becky and I are looking forward to most, tell us what you can't wait to see. And thanks for watching The Buzz. Bye.
