Former Man Show host Adam Carolla is returning to TV — the comic has scored a deal to executive produce and star in a pilot for NBC.
The show will be a half-hour comedy with Carolla playing a guy who has to move on after his wife leaves him with his kids. Interestingly, his Man Show co-host Jimmy Kimmel is also producing the new show.
I liked seeing (well, hearing his off-color jokes) the funnyman on Dancing With the Stars, and it reminded me why I liked him (Loveline anyone?). I'll be tuning in to see if Carolla can carry his own sitcom, as long as there are no beer chants or girls jumping on trampolines.
