American Music Awards Featuring Rihanna, New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, and More

TV Tonight: The 2010 American Music Awards

The 2010 American Music Awards air tonight, and they're sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Rihanna will reportedly open the show with a song we've never heard her sing before, while New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys will close out the evening with a mashup — and you already know how excited I am about that. They're not the only ones who will be taking the stage: Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, and more artists are scheduled to sing for the crowd (honestly, it's hard to choose who I'm looking forward to most!).

I'll be watching as the performances and awards unfold all night long along with my fellow Buzz editors, so follow us on Twitter and right here on BuzzSugar. We'll be posting the full list of winners, along with any fun moments that happen throughout the night (and if this year is anything like last year, there will be plenty of surprises). Get a peek at the night's nominees here, and then tune in at 8 p.m. EST on ABC!

I'm way more excited for this than I was for the VMAs, and it used to be the other way around. Sure, the VMAs had a few of these, but the performances have been lackluster on MTV. I think I'm most looking forward to Katy Perry!
