The video for Arcade Fire's "We Exist" is here, and Andrew Garfield stars in maybe his most unexpected role yet. It begins with him shaving his hair off, putting on a wig, and going out for the night dressed in cutoff shorts and a plaid shirt that exposes his midriff — yes, a stark contrast to his alter egos Peter Parker and Spider-Man. He proceeds to get bullied at a bar before dancing in an empty room, Flashdance/Footloose style, where he encounters several men dressed just like him. They beckon him to pass through a door that leads to . . . Coachella! This explains the actor's appearance during Arcade Fire's set at the desert music festival. The video is pretty astounding, so check it out below.
