Ben Feldman has since left the show behind to join NBC's upcoming romantic comedy, A to Z, but of course, we still all want his take on Nipplegate 2014. When asked about it during A to Z's Summer TCA panel, Feldman indulged the crowd: "We did sit down, and [Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner] told me everything that was going to happen," Feldman said. "It is interesting when people say it came out of nowhere because if you took just his scenes and cut them together, he was losing his mind, and there were indications. He thought he was hearing voices in his head and transmissions, and he thought he was an alien at one point — he was crying on the floor.
"The last episode of Mad Men for me aired one day before NBC Upfronts," he continued. "We were walking out to do the red carpet, and I turned to one of the people on our publicity team who hadn't watched the show, and I said, 'I'm just going to warn you: there are going to be a lot of nipple questions. Nipples everywhere.' And there were."
