Hey lady penguin, I think the New Yorker is right on the money with that article. I watched The Hills in the gym and I feel so much dumber for it. It's 30 minutes of my life that I utterly wasted.

Is it just me, or was The New Yorker's review of The Hills poorly written? I've never seen the show and don't have interest to, but read the review out of curiosity. I expected at least an intelligent portrayal of the show but instead the author droned on about the wide range of reality television, droned on about how she doesn't like The Hills, and then droned on about how she doesn't get young people today anyway. Huh?
