A.C.O.D. Trailer: Adam Scott Wants a Divorce From His Parents

Ready to add a new acronym to a roster that already includes gems like FOMO and YOLO? Behold A.C.O.D., which stands for Adult Children of Divorce. It just so happens to also be the name of an upcoming indie comedy in which Adam Scott plays one of those adults. Scott is Carter, a guy who is still acting as referee to his divorced parents (Richard Jenkins and Catherine O'Hara) and trying to seek help for his affliction from a therapist (Jane Lynch) who considers herself an expert in the ACOD field. Just to make things more complicated, his little bro has gotten engaged after just four moths of dating — an obvious no-no to divorce-fearing Carter.

The trailer certainly seems relatable despite the many over-the-top quirky characters, and Scott is an expert at playing the everyman. However, it's all kinds of weird to see Amy Poehler as Scott's stepmom considering they're one of TV's cutest couples on Parks and Recreation.
