I have to know does Channing Tatum get shirtless? I'm gonna check out your chest. Check out your chest. Not nearly enough. Hi, I'm Becky Kirsch. And I'm Shannon Vestal. We're the editors of BuzzSugar, and on this episode of the Buzz we have a special guest, top Sugar editor, Molly Goodson. Hi, guys. So Shannon and I've already seen 21 Jumpstreet. But Molly hasn't. But I know she's been talking about Channing and Jonah non stop. I have. I am really excited to see this movie. I've adored seeing how funny Channing and Jonah have been and all of their press trunkets. I absolutely love every clip, I see is funnier than the last. I just can't wait to see it. Well, you're in luck, because Becky and I loved it. If you're still trying to make up your mind we're going to let Molly ask all of her questions so you're well informed. This movie is based on a dramatic 1980s TV series. Is there anything I need need to know anything about the TV series to understand the movie? Absolutely not. If you don't know anything about the movie, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum play a couple of undercover cops who go back to high school to investigate a new designer drug. This TV show was kind of like an after school special; pretty heavy, very dramatic. This is total comedy through and it has a lighter attitude towards drinking and drugs. Wait. How are we going to buy ethanol? I don't have a fake ID. The TV show actually stared some future A listers of America, and I hear Johnny Depp makes a cameo, can you confirm? We're not going to confirm nor deny. Damn, trust me you'll thank us in the end. Even though Jonah is the one with the comedy background we all know about, I hear that Channing is surprisingly hilarious. You look really old, were you held back or something or? No, super young. Were you held forward? Do you feel like it showcases a great funny side of Channing? Yes, I actually love it. I was really impressed with his comedy chops, and I actually really want to see Channing Tatum in more comedy roles now. Who's more funnier? Channing or Jonah? Channing. I think Channing is really funny, like don't get me wrong. he's very interesting. It's very close. But Jonah just always kills me. He has the best lines. My vote's for Jonah. So, I just think Jonah is so natural and you're really expecting him to be funny. But I feel like Channing just kind of comes out of nowhere. I think my laughs were harder for him. He was a little funny in the bath, maybe unintentional. He was very funny in the bath. Channing is of course known for his dance moves. He rose to stardom thanks to Step Up. We've seen him do the worm in the trailer. How much Channing dancing do we get? There's not a lot of Chann-dance unfortunately. The worm scene was actually not even in the movie. It was cut. That's devastating. It is. Right, and this is not a sequel to Step Up with Jonah Hill and the Jenna doing role, sorry. That was not a bad idea though. The trailer is obviously hilarious, but does it give away all the funny parts? During the first few minutes of the movie you are going to think: I've already seen all this because it's all been in the trailer. But thankfully once you get past the first 10 minutes or so, there's a lot more funny moments that you haven't seen. There's actually a bunch of other funny people movie. I'm a big fan of Dave Franco. I assume he is great. So other than that, who's good? Yes. There's like so many good supporting characters. Rob Riggle has a big role. We've been seeing him in a lot of funny stuff lately. Yeah, and the officer is Ellie Kemper plays a teacher who's hot for a student, there's also Nick Offerman from Parks and Recreation, Ron Swanson, and New Girl's Jake Johnson who I love. But really what about Dave Franco? Oh yeah, Dave Franco is really funny. I love him. He's a little James Franco to me but he's very, very funny in there. Final question, 2 words Why should people see this movie? Why not? Channing Tatum. It's funny. It's good. It's very funny. Dave Franco. It's awesome. Yeah! Did you like our answer? I did! Would you guys come see it with me again? Hell yeah, I'll see it again. Yeah, totally. And you guys should go check it out too because it's now in theaters. Thanks for joining us, Molly, and thank you for watching The Buzz.
