Channing Tatum to Star in Eagle of the Ninth

Channing Tatum — Love Him or Leave Him?

Life seems to be good for Channing Tatum. Just this Summer, the actor scored box office success with G.I. Joe, married his actress girlfriend Jenna Dewan, and impressed Dirty Dancing fans far and wide with his spot-on impression of Patrick Swayze. Now, the actor has signed on for a role in the upcoming Eagle of the Ninth, a Roman epic that will costar Donald Sutherland and Jamie Bell.

I know that Tatum has a strong fan base that dates back to his Step Up days, but I'm still not sold on his appeal. Maybe I just haven't seen enough of his movies — or maybe it's these hilarious photos of his stripper days — but I'm willing to give him another chance. What do you think of Channing Tatum — love him or leave him?

I couldn't put leave him, but I'll admit I haven't been interested in any of his recent movies. I absolutely love him in A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and would like for him to do more work like that. I also enjoyed The Battle in Seatle. Go back to indie projects Channing.

I seriously do not find him attractive at all.

He does seem dumb when he speaks, but despite that, I loved him in "She's the Man"

neither; I don't love him, but I don't dislike him either. he is cute; he's not a terrible actor but he is hard to take seriously sometimes. but in that Dirty Dancing spoof; oh my goodness he was hilarious and I saw a whole new side of his talent - he needs to do more stuff like that and less Step-Up-type crap...

"ignorant and dumb". Lol, well I guess we won't discuss nuclear proliferation with him. Darn. Cause you KNOW that's what we were thinking when we look at him.

There is just something about him, soft yet tough, confident yet humble . . . Watch Stop-Loss, but in any case, he had me at Step-Up (cuz I love dance movies!)

How could you leave him on the dance floor?
