Clash of the Titans Is No. 1 at the Box Office

Box Office: Clash of the Titans Slays the Competition

Seems that the gods are mighty hard to defeat. The remake of Clash of the Titans took charge of the weekend's box office, bringing in a hefty $61.4 million for first place. Even Tyler Perry who usually earns the top spot with his films proved to be no match. His Why Did I Get Married Too? came in second with $30.1 million.

Last week's winner How to Train Your Dragon bumped down a couple of notches to No. 3 with $29.2 million, while Miley Cyrus's The Last Song took fourth with $16.2 million. Keep in mind, however, that since The Last Song debuted on Wednesday, its actual five-day total is around $25.6 million. Finishing out the top five with $8.2 million was Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

i was really upset because none of the theaters near me had Titans in 3D and i refused to go see it in 2D. instead i went to see 'how to train your dragon' which was really adorable and would recommend to ANYONE!
