Nipsey Hussle's final music video was released on Friday, nearly two months after the rapper was shot and killed outside his clothing store in Los Angeles. Titled "Higher," the track is off DJ Khaled's new Father of Asahd album and also features John Legend. In the clip, Hussle reminisces about his grandmother and recalls family memories while strolling around Los Angeles under an open blue sky with Legend and DJ Khaled. At the end of the video, the screen goes black and reads, "Rest in Paradise Ermias 'Nipsey Hussle' Asghedom."

While announcing the music video's debut on Instagram, DJ Khaled explained that the footage was recorded just days before Hussle's death, and deciding whether or not to release it was no easy feat. "After much prayer and reflection, and with the full blessing of the Asghedom family, I am sharing that moment with the world. The very title of the song reminds us that vibrating on a 'Higher' level was the essence of Nipsey's soul." He added that all proceeds from the track will be donated to Hussle's two children, Emani and Kross.
