Could This Be the Real Reason Jenna's Back on Pretty Little Liars?

There have been many mysteries on this season of Pretty Little Liars. That includes Jenna Marshall, who recently came back to Rosewood for some unknown reason. Initially, Jenna lies to the girls, saying she's come back because of Toby's engagement. But even Toby doesn't know she's in town right away, and he certainly doesn't know why. So what's going on with this sketchy girl?

In this week's episode, we finally got a little bit more information. Jenna knows that Dr. Elliot Rollins is really Archer Dunhill. Hanna catches her using the name when she answers the burner phone that was left in his car. Jenna also randomly shows up at Ali's house asking for Elliot. Although this all has made us wonder what her connection is to Archer, maybe we have been asking the wrong question!

Back at Radley, Emily breaks into Jenna's room and is caught by her and Sara. Jenna eventually opens up to say she was friends with Charlotte, back when Charlotte was still trying to win over Alison's trust. Jenna also knew that Charlotte was romantically involved with Archer at the time. Lastly, Jenna was allegedly trying to help Charlotte find her birth mother . . . who we now know is Mary Drake.

Although Charlotte was once going by "CeCe Drake," Mary claims the two have never met. It's possible that she's lying, or maybe Jenna is a good detective and was at least able to find some information for Charlotte. But now, we have a better understanding of how Jenna fits into this crazy drama.

When Jenna heard that Charlotte had died, she tried reaching out to Archer, only to get Hanna on the phone. Now, she's letting Emily know that she is onto her and the rest of the girls. So perhaps Jenna actually isn't back for bad reasons but is instead in Rosewood to find out what happened to her friend Charlotte. Perhaps she knows exactly what Archer was up to before he died and is trying to finish his evil plan. We'll have to keep watching to find out.
