Doubt, Milk, Mad Men Lead Screen Actors Guild Nominations

Doubt, Milk, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button all picked up another batch of nominations Thursday when the nominees for this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced in Hollywood. Doubt led all nominees with five nods (four for acting, one for the best motion picture ensemble), while Milk and Benjamin Button had three apiece. Like last week's Golden Globes, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are among the acting nominees, Robert Downey Jr. got a nod for Tropic Thunder, and Heath Ledger was nominated posthumously for The Dark Knight.

On the television side, Mad Men, The Closer, and 30 Rock led the nominated series with three nominations each, and HBO's miniseries John Adams also had three nods. One pleasant surprise there was seeing Elisabeth Moss among the acting nominees, the first time she's been recognized for her role. To see the complete list,

*sigh* No LOST, again...When it comes to TV, they should just name it the Same Actors Guild b/c the same people always get nominated for everything! We get it; you love William Shatner and Mariska Hargitay and Tony Shalhoub and Jeremy Piven (granted, best part of Entourage)! I'm ready for some diversity.
