Where You've Seen the Empire Cast Before

Empire is one of TV's biggest hits in quite a while, and it just wrapped up with an epic season finale. The show's skyrocketing ratings pretty much meant instant stardom for the cast, and while you may already be familiar with Taraji P. Henson (aka total badass Cookie) and Terrence Howard as Lucious, did you know they starred in 2005's Hustle & Flow together? And how much do you know about the rest of the Empire family? If you've been listening to the show's hits on repeat and you're as addicted as we are, you'll want to check out the movies and TV shows where the cast has turned up before! Terrence Howard in Hustle & Flow

Howard has been acting on TV and in movies since the early '90s. He had parts in The Best Man, Glitter, and Big Momma's House, but he really broke out in 2005's Hustle & Flow, when he played a pimp struggling to become a rapper. The role earned him an Oscar nod, and "It's Hard Out Here For a Pimp" scored best original song. Since then, he's had a lot of movie parts, like in Iron Man, and he'll show up in Fox's new drama Wayward Pines come May 14.

In 2009, she was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Fingers crossed Cookie can win her an Emmy!
