The trailer for Fast Five has zoomed into your world, and it is predictably both fast and furious. The fifth movie features original pair Brian and Dom (Paul Walker and Vin Diesel) on the run again in Rio de Janeiro for a final job. This time, there's another beefcake in town who wants to take them down — Dwayne Johnson (you'll always be The Rock to me, The Rock) plays a cop intent on snagging the two heads of the gas-pedal gang.
It's what you'd expect from big number five: running, jumping, driving, muscle cars. I have no doubt that it'll be a thrill ride for fans of the franchise (who should also be pleased to see Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris reprising their roles). But if you're not entranced by the high-octane energy of the preview, you'll find a lot to make fun of — at one point, one character utters, "This just went from mission impossible to mission in-freakin-sanity." You can't make these lines up, people. But let me know which side you fall on for this movie — are you ready to take another fast and furious spin, or are you staying far away from this one?
