First Photos of New Melrose Place, Vampire Diaries, and The Beautiful Life on The CW

Sneak Peek: Melrose Place, The Beautiful Life, Vampire Diaries

The CW doesn't present its Fall schedule until tomorrow, but the network delivered a treat today, as photos from new series Melrose Place, The Beautiful Life, and Vampire Diaries turned up online.

The Melrose reboot counts Ashlee Simpson, Greek/Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star Michael Rady, and Katie Cassidy among its cast. The Beautiful Life, about models trying to make it in New York, is produced by Ashton Kutcher and stars Mischa Barton. And Vampire Diaries, based on the book series of the same name, stars Degrassi's Nina Dobrev and these two hotties.

i have a feeling that MP isn't going to be as good as the 'reboot' of 90210 which honestly was getting to be awful during the season. I feel like there was another show called beautiful people a few years ago and i can't get that one out of my head. anyway, just what we need - another show about models - like MODELS INC. all those years ago. for the vampire diaries, i liked nina on Degrassi so hopefully this will be good for her. i'm not sure if we're past the excitement with vampires though - since twilight's been out for a bit and True Blood has been too.

The only reason I want to see Melrose Place 2.0 is because I really like Michael Rady, but I'm not expecting it to be good. Vampire Diaries seems to have potential. The Beautiful Life looks horrible and I hope they cancel it. I'm pissed that they decided not to pick up the Gossip Girls spin-off, Lily. It looks much better than the other shows.

Let's just bring back Veronica Mars, and forget this other garbage...although I do have a thing for vampires, so I might check this out. And emalove, I agree...90210 is pure garbage, and I'm sure Melrose Place will be too.

What the heck did they do to Nina's beautiful, beautiful hair?

I'll check out the vampire show probably...but I'm guessing the new Melrose Place will be as lame as the new 90210 is.

I don't care how they choose to label it. It is still uncreative and will most likely be canceled before the 5th episode has aired.

Boooo Fall television is already looking to suck hard. Do we really need another remake of a television show that went off air not that long ago. Don't even get me started on the fact that NBC had wiped out their entire 10 o'clock time slots on some stupid comedy hour with Jay Leno. The writers in LA need to be more creative because I can guarantee over 75% of new shows that premier this fall will not live to see 2010.
