Foxcatcher Trailer

The New Trailer For Foxcatcher Has What You Always Want: More Channing Tatum

The first trailer for Foxcatcher gave us some serious goosebumps, but the new teaser for the thriller is even more terrifying, because you really get to meet Channing Tatum's character in the film, wrestler Mark Schultz. In the thriller, which is based on a horrifying true story, Steve Carell plays John du Pont, a millionaire who establishes a wrestling facility on Foxcatcher farm, and he recruits Mark Schultz with the declaration that he can make him the best. Where the first trailer gave us a mesmerizing look at Carell's transformation, this new teaser highlights Tatum's performance, which is clearly about more than facial prosthetics (brace yourself to see what he does in the end of the trailer). This isn't even the worst part of this story: in real life, du Pont murdered Mark's brother, David Schultz, an Olympic champion wrestler, played in the movie by Mark Ruffalo. Watch the new teaser below to be impressed by Tatum, and then watch the first one after. Foxcatcher comes out Nov. 14.

OK I definitely would have thought Steve Carell + Channing Tatum + wrestling = comedy. I am shocked by this trailer.
