Everything We Know About the Game of Thrones Season Finale

It's that happy-sad time of year when Game of Thrones is still on, but the end of the season is in sight. It's been a real roller coaster of emotions this season, especially after the epic penultimate episode, and the finale is probably going to be one of the biggest ever. I mean, it better be, because we wait all year for this. Anyway, the Game of Thrones showrunners and HBO have revealed a few things about the final episode of season six that you're going to want to know for your viewing preparations. Here's everything we know so far.

Who and What We'll See

Going off the trailer, we know we will see a number of characters: Daenerys, Walder Frey and Jaime, the trials of Loras and Cersei, Davos confronting Melisandre, Jon and Sansa bonding, and Littlefinger creepin' on Sansa. But I think we can also assume we will see these characters, though they are not in the trailer: the Hound, Arya, and Brienne. It's possible we won't see this handful of characters until season seven, but based on their their season six arcs, it would be surprising if they were MIA in the finale.
