RainbowCrayon 8 years I've seen live music 3 times. I saw the Monkees preform sans davy at my county fair when I was 10, and then when I was 20ish. I saw random country singers at brewers stadium. It was some Ford concert tour. It was Alan Jackson, GS and various others. Last year my best friend and I went to see Lonestar at the county fair. But yeah, that's it. **~~Everyone who's anyone has been on sesame street.~~** lickety-split 8 years do the recitals of 7 year old's count? how about christmas pageants? otherwise; 0 rubialala 8 years I have only been to two concerts in my entire life. They were both fantastic. inertia 8 years I live in Tokyo Japan and the independent music scene is really strong. I think I average about once a week, although it's difficult to estimate because I follow a few artists who I always go to see and it depends on when they're playing. Last month I went to 8 concerts and 4 of them were on consecutive nights. This month, I haven't been to any yet because my favorites are on break. I don't go out just to check out unknown bands. Tokyo indie concerts generally cost about 3,000 yen ($28 US) so it's too expensive to bother unless I know for sure that I'll love one of the performers. ashleycakes 8 years I live in Athens, GA, home of R.E.M., the local music scene is always bumping, so there is something here for everyone, plus there are like 60 bars in a 12 block radius so if you don't like the show you're watching, just leave and go to another bar and there is probably a band playing there too! It's hard to go out in this town and not go to a place that has a band playing. _________________________ Yeah!!! WhatTheFrockBlog 8 years I used to go a few times a month, but now I'm an old fart and I hate standing in crowded little bars. I prefer a chair and a place to put my drink but, unfortunately, most of the bands I like don't play in comfy, spacious arenas. So I only go every few months now, if there's a band I really, really want to see.
