Hugh's Opening Song and Dance: Love It or Leave It?

Hugh's Opening Song and Dance: Love It or Leave It?

Hugh Jackman didn't let a little recession affect his opening act at the Oscars! Between the singing, and the coordinated dancing, and his head on a little Benjamin Button baby, and the Anne Hathaway-as-Nixon routine, there was a lot going on in this opening. Jackman seemed to be loving every minute of it. But what did you think?

It was fantastic! He did a fabulous job. My favorite parts were the Frost/Nixon bit with Anne Hathaway (she was spectacular, as well) and the dance for The Reader. Hysterical!

This was a fantastic opening. The bit about not seeing The Reader had me in tears, it was so funny. Even my husband loved it!

i really enjoyed it. i think that it was one of the better openings for the oscars that i can remember. (interesting about anne - that most people didn't realize that she can sing i guess)

I really like the "low budget" approach to the opening number. It was funny and entertaining.

I liked it, but I didn't love it. My favorite part was when he said "I'm Wolverine!"
