Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver Fall Apart in the Heartbreaking Marriage Story Trailer

Everyone loves a good romance, but sometimes happily ever after doesn't work out the way you planned. Described as an "incisive and compassionate portrait" of a marriage falling apart, Netflix's Marriage Story follows Charlie and Nicole as their love story comes to an end. Directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach, the comedy-drama stars Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver as Nicole and Charlie, respectively, who are the once-happy couple going through a devastating divorce at the heart of the film.

Our first look at the movie came from two teaser trailers that provide the perspectives of our new divorceés. Both protagonists are made to answer, "What do you love about your partner?," as the footage highlights their relationship through the eyes of both characters. But it abruptly comes to a somber end in a courtroom scene at the end of both trailers. Now that the full trailer has dropped, we have a better idea of what we can expect from the buzzy, critically-acclaimed drama.
