Hi, I'm Molly Goodson and today in Watch, Pass or Rent we're talking about Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. This time around Ethan Hunt and his team have to take down a Russian spy who planning a nuclear attack on the world. The Russians are classifying this as an undeclared act of war. The blame points to you and your team. This movie is a lot of fun. The action scenes are great. The plot is actually not too complicated, which is a problem with some of the other Mission: Impossible movies and most of all Tom Cruise is just so great as Ethan Hunt. First of all, Tom Cruise looks amazing in this movie. There's a lot of shirtless scenes, he's totally buff, he's looking great, and he's also just so charismatic in this big action role. You're not gonna make it! You're not helping. The stunts are totally out of hand in typical Tom Cruise fashion. They're way over the top. Jeremy Renner is fine but he doesn't have quite that same charisma that Tom Cruise does. Paula Patton looks gorgeous and kicks some ass and Simon Pegg brings a much needed comedy, but really, this movie is all about Tom Cruise. Why is it so hard to grasp? The first three Mission Impossible movies are great, but they really upped the ante with this one. The gadgets they made up are so cool and for a whole new era of Mission Impossible fans. [Cub, check. We're live. There are some really amazing chase scenes that take place, these gorgeous places all over the world. It's really breathtaking, so I recommend seeing it on the big screen, iMax if possible. This movie is a lot of fun. The plot is not too complicated and the action scenes are amazing. It's a little bit on the long side, but Tom Cruise is really at his best, so I give it a watch.
