Holy wow. Arcade Fire, the Montreal-based indie-rock band, has released a new video for "Black Mirror," the first song off their second album, Neon Bible, and it is, for lack of a better term, awesome. When I first saw the bizarre behind-the-scenes stills for the video, I had to laugh and didn't bother imagining how they'd piece this together. Now that I've seen the final product, I can tell you that it is everything you'd probably expect from an Arcade Fire video: dramatic, surreal, seriously detailed (there is a credit at the end for "bottle etching"), interactive (you can toggle the sound) and a little creepy (giant head rising from ocean). You can check the video out here. Enjoy!
