We're still trying to get Adam Sandler's 2011 movie Jack and Jill out of our minds, but his next project isn't looking any better. In That's My Boy, Sandler stars as a crude, womanizing loser who gets into trouble with the IRS and decides to hit up his wealthy estranged son (Samberg) for cash. As the two collide, Sandler starts infiltrating Samberg's clean, preppy, life — and not at all for the better.
The best part about this trailer is seeing Samberg playing it straight, rather than his typical off-the-wall characters. Unfortunately, the rest of the preview is pretty lame; uninspired jokes, raunchy humor, visible puke, and the like. Even as a Sandler fan, I can already tell that I'm not going to like his character in this; is it too much to ask for him to make more movies like Funny People and Punch Drunk Love? The movie hits theaters just in time for Father's Day, but watch the preview when you read more.
