New Girl TV Show Review

Tell Us Why You Tune In to New Girl

By now, Fox's New Girl Jess (Zooey Deschanel) isn't quite so new to fans of the show. Just as her trio of roommates Schmidt (Max Greenfield), Winston (Lamorne Morris), and Nick (Jake Johnson) have gotten to know Jess and her quirky behaviors, so have we — including her tendency to burst into song, rely on a feeling stick to communicate, and insistence on sporting gnarly false teeth to black tie affairs. As annoying as all of that may sound, I have to admit I look forward to Jess's one-of-a-kind sense of humor and total inability to censor herself every week. With every episode, I'm also coming to love her roomies more and more for their own idiosyncrasies. Have you been enjoying New Girl as much as I have? Let us know why you've been watching the show in the comments section below!

Love her so much, of course I'm watching the show! I agree that it gets better every episode, though I do really miss Damon Wayans Jr. His comedic timing was great, and he's super hot.

New Girl is definitely my favorite new comendy this season! My mom and I have seriously cracked up while watching ever single episode. I think all the characters are lovable, and I like how each of them are funny in different ways.

I love Zooey! The cast have great chemistry, and it's fun to watch. It's nothing complicated, uplifting, and the characters are relatable esp. Zooey. Everyone loves that awkward girl that say funny things.

I love all the characters and the show is super dorky but lovable as well. It's also very funny and unique at the same time.

It's great - so funny and different than any of the other shows in its category. And I have to admit, I too am LOVING Jake Johnson. :) His Nick is the perfect complement to Jess.

I watch to ogle Zooey's hair and because, though I don't think the show is flawless, I think each episode is slightly better than the last. I think it'll figure itself out and be a solid show!

There's honestly no one else like Jess on TV. I think it's easy to write her off as unrealistically quirky but, I don't know, I think Zooey makes her real. What helps the show is, that while it clearly is a starring vehicle for Zooey, the show wouldn't be half as good without the roommates. Everyone is funny. And not funny *restrained giggle* but laugh-out-loud funny. At least I think so.
