Matthew McConaughey [3] is getting a lot of praise for Dallas Buyers Club, but he's just as good in Mud. The 2012 indie features the actor as a mysterious drifter who befriends a couple of boys while on the run.

When it's available: March 21

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman [4] won an Oscar for his performance as the complex writer Truman Capote. If you haven't seen the film, now is the time to celebrate Hoffman for the absolutely gifted performer he was.

The United States of Leland

Here's a great film for fans of Ryan Gosling [5] who are looking for something a little different. He stars as a teenager in a juvenile detention center in this 2003 crime drama. Don Cheadle [6], Jena Malone, Kevin Spacey [7], and Gosling's Blue Valentine costar Michelle Williams [8] also appear.

Mad Men returns in April [11], which means you don't have long to catch up on season six! It won't be available until the end of the month, but there's always binge watching.
