She's trying to bridge genres, which is tough. Actually, her best work in on The Little Willies album. You can't listen to that and still call her boring. I get why you prefer Winehouse to Jones. No question that Winehouse is a better singer. But, if you find Jones' style "boring," I submit it's a bit of an age thing. You identify more with Winehouse's youthful, rebellious music, where as Jones is going for more of a (I wish I could think of a better term) mature adult aesthetic. In ten years you'll still dig Winehouse because of the remembered youth and feelings listening to her music will evoke -- but you'll have gained a different appreciation for Jones' music. pud3333 8 years "Snora" Jones. kscincotta 8 years I love her music - it's relaxing and easy to listen to when I'm working. vintagesugar 8 years For about two years you could not go into an upscale women's clothing store without hearing Norah Jones. I think she is totally boring. I know she is talented and exotic looking and sweet, but I wish she would shake things up a bit. sexyeyes 8 years She was pretty good in the beginning but now she has become a little boring :oy: Jinx 8 years I agree and I liked that one as well. I read this one isn't as "jazzy". ------------------------------------------------------ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. I know my dad likes her music more than I do. But I respect that she does her own thing. There aren't many girls out there in her age group that perform jazz music. Jinx 8 years She has a beautiful, smooth voice. I loved her other stuff, but I hear this cd is different. ------------------------------------------------------ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. It can get a bit monotonous.
