Number Crunching: This Week's TV Ratings

  • Too many doubters? Looks like Trust Me is going to have to work for viewers' trust. The TNT show drew 3.4 million viewers for Monday's premiere, which is lower than many other recent TNT premieres.
  • Cookin'. Fox's Hell's Kitchen had a pretty decent debut on Thursday with 11.1 million viewers.
  • And sagging. Sorry, I had to: Ratings for the Screen Actors Guild awards were down this year, to 5.4 million viewers on TBS and TNT combined.
  • House's new home. House continues to rock its new Monday slot. This week, with a lot of its competition in reruns, the show nabbed 15.6 million viewers.

i actually enjoyed Trust Me, but agree it was a bit slow. i like eric mccormack from will & grace (for some reason, i kept expecting him to hit on a guy during this show!) and i used to love ed when it was on, so i'm happy tom cavanaugh found a job. i think they have good chemistry on screen.

Trust Me has potential, but the first episode was slow; I'm hoping that the second episode sparkles.

I watched Trust Me on DVR. I have to say I wasn't impressed. I found myself getting bored a couple of times and surfing the net instead....I love House, but I hope it doesn't hurt Chuck!

I think that if Trust Me moved up an hour to 9, it might be able to get more viewership. Then again, a 10 o'clock time slot never really hurt Mad Men.

Love House. Although, I have to say, I'm not liking Thirteen. What is with the casting of whiny women on House? Cameron, then Thirteen. Although, I have to say, now that she's not on all the time, Cameron is a lot less whiny. And Chase is a whole lot less 'Australia-y'.
