for me it's a toss up between sean penn and mickey rourke. i'm a sucker for a come back story but i guess you just never know how their peers are going to vote.

A tough one, but I'm going with Mickey Rourke coz The Wrestler just broke my heart. He was subtly devastating.

Sean Penn, please! His take on Harvey Milk was absolutely wonderful and amazing.

I think this is definitely the hardest acting race to call. I have my surefire picks in the other three categories, but this is a tough one.

I am pulling for Sean Penn, and I feel pretty confident that he will be the winner on Sunday night. I thought his performance in "Milk" was amazing, and much better than the performance he actually won an Oscar for (even though I did love "Mystic River"). My second choice is Frank Langella. He was phenomenal in "Frost/Nixon."

I haven't seen Frost/Nixon or Milk yet; for now my vote goes to Richard Jenkins.

I really loved The Visitor, I would be so happy if Jenkins wins.

The only one i watched was Benjamin Button, i liked the movie but wasn't impressed with Pitt's perfomance.

My vote is for Mickey Rourke. I don't think Brad Pitt should have even been nominated - all he did was wear a bunch of makeup.

Sean is my favorite actor, so I'm always for him. But Mickey was truly phenomenal. I won't be disapointed if either of them win.

Not Brad Pitt! Benjamin Button should not win for anything!

On a side note, Richard Jenkins and The Visitor don't get much love, but it really is a great movie!

Interestingly, everyone I know who has seen both The Wrestler and Milk is rooting for Rourke to win. Not that that 's statistically significant or anything, just an interesting observation.

Normally, I hate to see previous winners win again but I thought Sean Penn was fantastic in Milk and I'd love to see him win for it.

I haven't seen any of these movies yet...

I think they were all good. I'd go with Mickey Rourke for the sympathy vote (apparently his dog just died) but if not, Sean Penn.

I only root for previous winners when their work outshines the competition. In this case, I think Sean Penn deserves to win this year. But if not, I'd love to see Mickey Rourke win. If he doesn't, he should be happy that his career has been resurrected.
