It's not often that music written for a documentary gets nominated for a Best Song Oscar. In fact, it's not often that a documentary gets nominated for anything but Best Documentary, so perhaps this bodes well for An Inconvenient Truth's chances of taking home a statuette.

I just can't wait to see what Melissa wears on the red carpet. We know that Al Gore will be dapper and Tipper will have big hair.

I think this song worked perfectly at the end of the film. The song combined with the messages flashing on the screen worked well in reminding the audience that it was in our hands to "wake up" and do something.
