Poll on The Expendables

Watch, Pass, or Rent: The Expendables

Julia Roberts and Michael Cera aren't the only ones storming the box office this weekend — in fact, they're joined by a whole slew of big-name action stars in The Expendables. Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger team up with tons of other beefy guys about a team of mercenaries that heads to South Africa.

In a year that's already brought us The Losers and The A-Team, will you spend your money on yet another film about a band of dudes blowing stuff up? The novelty of seeing these guys (many of whom are past their prime) bro-ing it out again on the big screen will probably be a big draw for many, but what's your take?

It is a 80s/90s action movie to the max. Ridiculous dialog, no back story, unrealistic fight scenes. Exactly what I wanted! Glad I got in for free though, it's rare I see a movie I'd care to pay for (uh-oh, turning into the music industry!) Although Shutter Island and Inception were exceptions to the rule, I would pay to see them many times (even though I get in for free anyway.)

I just saw it and IT WAS AMAZING. I didn't go in there for a plot and that's exactly what happened, stupid irrelevant plot but with GREAT action scenes. No one was going in there for the riveting dialogue so accept it for what it is, a great, simple kick ass movie.

Pass - I don't care for anyone in that movie, and it seems like it will play up the actors more than the story.
