The Results Are In: Recast The Graduate!

For last week's special Oscar edition of the Recast challenge, I chose one of my old Academy favorites, The Graduate, which won for Best Director in 1968 and was nominated in six other categories. I asked you guys to recast the three main characters with an appropriately hot middle-aged woman, an innocent young bloke, and a slightly vapid but pretty daughter.

We got a lot of Diane Lanes and Topher Graces, while WhiplashGirlchild wowed us with her trio of Zach Braff, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Claire Danes. But the winner of this week's Recast was actually the first person to submit her entry. So congratulations, Slashyelizabeth! To see her picks and a "new" cast photo,

Slashyelizabeth's Graduate Cast:
Benjamin Braddock — Paul Dano ("He looks young, but he'll be 24 this summer.")
Mrs. Robinson — Susan Sarandon
Elaine Robinson — Michelle Williams ("I think she could pass as Susan Sarandon's daughter.")
