Save the Date Trailer With Alison Brie

Save the Date Trailer: Lizzy Caplan Isn't Rushing to the Altar

You may have to wait a little while longer to see Alison Brie and her Community castmates on the small screen again, but you can catch a glimpse of the TV star right now in the trailer for her next big-screen endeavor, Save the Date. Brie and Lizzy Caplan play Beth and Sarah, sisters with distinctively different attitudes toward marriage. While Beth is engaged and looking forward to her wedding with her fiancé (Martin Starr), Sarah freaks out when her boyfriend (Geoffrey Arend) tries to take their relationship to the next level. Sarah rebounds into the arms of a very cute new guy (Mark Webber), but she's not necessarily more content.

I love just about every person in this cast, especially Brie and Caplan, and I also like the fact that we'll get to see multiple perspectives on the matter of marriage since the sisters are so different. Save the Date looks bittersweet without being too cynical, and if the trailer is any indication, the soundtrack is awesome. The movie was well-received earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, but you'll get to see it for yourself when it comes to theaters on Dec. 14. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think after the jump.
