Here's a track to start your weekend out on a nice, mellow note: "Lay and Love," the forthcoming single off of Bonnie "Prince" Billy's 2006 album, The Letting Go. The CD single, which hits stores Jan. 23, also has Will Oldham (a.k.a. Bonnie "Prince" Billy, a.k.a. Palace Brothers) doing a cover of Bob Dylan's "Senor," which I can't wait to hear. Though The Letting Go was recorded in Iceland, the effect of "Lay and Love" is more like spooning under a warm, cozy blanket.
